The content, ratings, ingredient breakdowns, certifications, and product information provided within the C.L.E.A.N.® Food Certified App are strictly for general educational, reference, and informational purposes only. Nothing contained in the App constitutes or is intended to serve as medical advice, clinical diagnosis, dietary guidance, or professional nutritional counsel. The App is not a substitute for advice from a licensed physician, registered dietitian, allergist, or other qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a medical professional regarding any health, dietary, or allergy concerns.

The App must NEVER be relied upon as a primary source for identifying food allergens, cross-contamination risks, or ingredient safety.

• Formulations change frequently. Food manufacturers alter product formulations, production lines, and ingredient lists without prior notice. The data displayed in the App may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect relative to the physical product in your possession.
• Cross-contamination & shared facilities. The App does not track or verify facility-level processing, shared equipment, or airborne cross-contamination risks unless explicitly stated on the manufacturer’s official package label.
• Obligation to inspect packaging. Users with food allergies, food sensitivities, celiac disease, or specific health conditions MUST independently inspect the physical packaging, ingredient list, and allergen statements directly on the physical product prior to purchase, handling, or consumption.

Product data, ingredient definitions, and barcode lookup results are aggregated from public records, user submissions, manufacturer datasets, and automated optical character recognition (OCR). C.L.E.A.N.® Food Certified makes no warranties or representations—express or implied—regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any product information displayed in the App. C.L.E.A.N.® Food Certified expressly disclaims all liability for errors, omissions, typos, or delays in ingredient or allergen data.

Any rating, badge, classification, or status assigned to a product (including the verdict tiers “C.L.E.A.N.,” “Almost C.L.E.A.N.,” “Potentially C.L.E.A.N.,” and “Not C.L.E.A.N.,” the per-ingredient clean / watch / avoid labels, and any certification status) represents an independent opinion based solely on C.L.E.A.N.® Food Certified’s internal criteria. Ratings do not reflect official federal, state, or international food safety standards, nor do they guarantee that a food item is safe, healthy, or suitable for your specific body, metabolic needs, or medical conditions.

By using the App, you expressly assume all risks associated with your dietary choices and health decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, C.L.E.A.N.® Food Certified, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with:

• an allergic reaction, adverse health event, injury, or illness;
• reliance on any ingredient list, rating, or data point displayed in the App; or
• any omission, delay, or inaccuracy in product formulation data.
